We Are Open!
The global concerns and tragedies that COVID-19 has brought to all of us had us shutting the doors and cancelling classes mid-March 2020. While our communities worked hard at protecting themselves and those around them, we were listening and learning as much as we could about new protocols and opportunities to not only keep ourselves safe but how to help teach our students to do the same.
Our biggest mission at LKA is to provide an environment and experiences to allow our students to develop confidence and independence in the kitchen. This also leads to professional, responsible sanitary practices and procedures.
When we confidently reopened at the end of May, we added new protocols that we believe will not only add to the value of the LKA experience but also continue to keep our students and instructors safe.
Our curriculum at LKA already provides a physically distant workspace, and strictly keeping our class sizes to 10 keeps our occupancy under 50% of what we are allowed.
The changes we have made:
We continue to meticulously clean and professionally sanitize our entire environment in between classes and are constantly learning and adapting more ways we can improve.
We appreciate your patience and support of these measures in this unprecedented situation, as safeguarding our entire Little Kitchen Academy community continues to be our top priority.
